Brian Fainton is an environmental scientist specialising in contaminated land and water. Brian has worked for both consultants and contractors in this field and is currently a project manager with PB in Brisbane.
After completing a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Conservation and Management and Biology at Nottingham (UK), Brian further completed an MSc in Environmental Diagnostics at the Cranfield University of Technology (UK). After working with consultants and contractors in the UK, Brian moved to Australia in 2006 where he currently resides in PB's Hazardous Materials group.
Brian has worked throughout the UK and Australia on contaminated land and water projects, and specialises in investigations of petroleum contamination and CCA treated wood and heavy metal impacts. Brian currently manages environmental investigations and remediation of service stations and depots for a major fuel company as well as providing services for commercial local and national sites with impacts including pesticides, solvents, metals, asbestos, fuels and oils.
